CABE is leading the challenge of educating all of California’s students and English Learners to increase their academic achievement by launching the Dollars for Scholars Fund as part of its Carry the Torch Campaign at the upcoming 33rd Annual CABE Conference “Bilingual Education: Connecting Cultures, Reclaiming our Future” .
Through Dollars for Scholars you can support new and future educators and ensure that California meets the present and future demand for qualified teachers who can teach in quality bilingual instructional programs and reduce the persistent achievement gap.
CABE’s Dollars for Scholars is spearheaded by CABE’s Board of Directors to provide high school, community college, and college/university students throughout California who are interested in becoming teachers with the important financial support to complete their educational objectives. As you know quality and equitable educational programs are only possible with qualified bilingual educators and teachers of English Learners in our schools. Dollars for Scholars is one way you can make educational success a reality for our new teachers and students.
